On September 21, Qingdao University held the 3rd SCO International Matchmaking Meeting of the Fashion Matching Master Contest in Minxing Building, Fushan Campus. Ma Shuang, President of Beijing Original Fashion Design Association, President of Beijing Yabao Road International Business Association, Director of Beijing Moscow Center and China-Ukraine Economic and Trade Cooperation Center, Zhang Xiaoyan, Deputy Director of the Third Department of Industrial Development of the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone Management Committee, Yu Chunhai, President of the Huacui Sunshine (Beijing) International Education technology Co., LTD, Ma Lingang, Director of Qingdao University SCO Campus Construction Office and Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Institute of Economics and Trade attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Si Xianpeng, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.

At the meeting, Ma Shuang introduced the relevant situation of the previous two competitions, Ma Lingang introduced the relevant ideas and implementation plans of university’s preparations, and Zhang Xiaoyan put forward the relevant requirements of plan and preparations for the third SCO International Fashion Matching Master Contest.

The International Fashion Matching Master Contest aims to enrich the cultural exchanges between universities in the SCO countries, strengthen contacts, promote innovation and entrepreneurship among young students, help Shandong enterprises increase their international trade development in the SCO countries, explore the international market, and help domestic enterprises go global, cultivating and promoting Chinese and Shandong brands. By holding the International Fashion Matching Master Contest, contacting people-to-people and cultural exchanges between universities in the SCO countries, and using fashion, catwalks, videos, etc., to implement the concept of "the friendship between the countries lies in the friendship between the people, and the friendship between the people lies in the heart-to-heart exchanges" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, convey Chinese culture, tell Chinese stories well, realize mutual learning among civilizations, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
