Zhang Song introduced the history, scale, academic influence of Qingdao University, and the school-running orientation, faculty and the characteristic and achievements in professional construction and personnel training of the College of Quality and Standardization of Qingdao University. As one of the 14 founding universities of the "'Belt and Road' Standardization Education and Research University Alliance", the college invited Plekhanov University of Economics to join the alliance to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the two sides with "standards", the common language of the world, as a link.

Si Xianpeng briefly introduced the university's international exchanges and cooperation. He suggested that the College of Quality and Standardization of Qingdao University and the Higher College of Management of Plekhanov University of Economics make full use of the important platform of the SCO Institute of Economy and Trade, and wished the cooperation between two sides to achieve great results.

At the symposium, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on the specific content of the letter of intent for educational and academic exchanges, and reached a basic consensus, including dual-degree talent training, summer camps, exchanges between teachers and students, and the formation of research teams to jointly declare topics. The two parties indicated that they will further communicate on the approval progress of the letter of intent for cooperation after the meeting, complete the signing of the letter of intent as soon as possible, and make every effort to promote the implementation of the cooperation project.
