News Network News On February 25, the plenary meeting of the Working Committee of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade was held in the fifth conference room of the office building. Hu Jinyan, Secretary of the Qingdao University Party Committee, and Xia Dongwei, the President, attended the meeting, and Du Fangbo, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, presided over the meeting.

Hu Jinyan put forward seven requirements in his concluding speech: First, we must seize the opportunity, not only to seize the rare opportunity of the school's career development, but also to seize the rare resources of the training market. Second, we must make good use of external resources and strengthen ties with the SCO State Secretariat and relevant prefectual and municipal governments. Third, we must focus on resource integration, vitalize and leverage existing resources, and skillfully complete embedded works. Fourth, we must do a good job in platform construction, give full play to the role of platforms such as "Qingdao Entrepreneur College" and "Jiaodong Economic Circle Entrepreneur Forum", thus linking effective resources. Fifth, we must place a high value on cooperation and expansion, adhere to the internal first and then the external, adhere to the combination of internal and external, actively expand educational resources, and enhance international influence. Sixth, we must put emphasis on top-level design, coordinate the resources of the whole school, issue the overall plan, list timetables and planning maps, and refine work tasks. Seventh, it is necessary to strengthen efficient coordination, give full play to the overall coordination function of the secretariat, and cooperate with all departments in their respective responsibilities, promote work projectization and project nodeization, and make every effort to finish well in various tasks.

Xia Dongwei emphasized that the construction of the China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade should be at a high position, focus on major national strategies, and play a leading role in demonstration. First, we must implement training programs, and each unit must integrate resources to create a representative training model; second, we must do well in internal training, focus on the policies of the SCO countries, as well as training talents in related fields; third, we must forge ahead actively, strive for the support of national ministries and commissions, develop existing markets, and broaden the depth and breadth of training.

At the meeting, Du Fangbo introduced the preliminary construction of China-SCO Institute of Economy and Trade and made unified arrangements for the key tasks in the near future. The College of Continuing Education, the College of Business, and the College of Economics reported on the training plan, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation reported on the cooperation with SCO countries in running schools, and the School of International Education reported on the development of international student education in SCO countries.
