Qingdao University and Belarusian State University Hold Video Working Conference

Recently, a video working conference between Qingdao University and Belarusian State University was held in the conference room of the International Office of Minhang Building. The meeting was chaired by Wang Yunbo, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Zhuk Alexander Vasilievich, the Director of the International Office of the Belarusian State University, Vice Director Galinsky Vladimir Mikhailovich, the Director of the Belarusian State University China Innovation Technology and Education Center, Wang Yaotian, Mikulko Dmitri Ivanovich, Deputy Director of the International Project Operation Center, Ma Lingang, Director of the Construction Office of Qingdao University SCO Campus, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office Si Xianpeng, Huang Kun, and Gong Yingrui, vice president of the School of Foreign Languages, attended the meeting.

Wang Yunbo and Zhuk Alexander Vasilievich briefly introduced the basic situation of Qingdao University and Belarusian State University and the development of international exchanges and cooperation, respectively. Ma Lingang introduced the establishment and construction of the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Institute of Economics and Trade. At the meeting, personnel from the two schools conducted in-depth discussions on mutual visits, exchanges between teachers and students, and joint training of students, and reached consensus. The two sides agreed to promote the signing of the memorandum of cooperation between the two universities as soon as possible, and carry out in-depth cooperation between the two universities under the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Institute.

Belarusian State University, referred to as BSU, was established in Minsk, the capital of Belarus in 1921. It is a world-class public research university with a history of more than 100 years. The school's physics and computer science enjoy a high reputation in the world, with physics and mathematics ranking first in Europe, and biological sciences and journalism and other disciplines are very influential in European academia, producing several Nobel Prize winners.
