On July 28, the 2022 "SCO Summer" China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Youth Gathering Week was launched in Jiaozhou, Qingdao. The Office of the SCO Insitute of Economics and Business, together with the School of International Education, organized 15 international students to participate in the event.

At the event site, representatives of teachers and students jointly released the "Shanghai Cooperation Organization National Youth Maker Camp Initiative", advocating that young people from SCO countries join the Maker Camp program, strengthen youth cultural exchanges within the framework of the SCO, and continue to create an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship, stimulate the enthusiasm of SCO youth for innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute to the common development of SCO countries. The Maker Camp aims to create a platform for youth innovation and entrepreneurship that can be jointly built, shared, and integrated between China and foreign countries. It will bring together world-renowned universities, enterprises and makers to carry out activities in the fields of cultural tourism, commerce, artificial intelligence and other fields by combining online and offline methods. 

The 2022 "SCO Summer" series of activities aims to further enhance friendship among SCO countries, strengthen contacts and exchanges between youth groups, show the vitality and elegance of SCO youth from different latitudes, and create a new platform in cultural field for communication and cooperation in SCO countries.
